Lightyear G10 User Guide for Bambu Lab Printers
Getting Started
Remove the G10 build plate from the packaging.
Rinse the build plate under warm water and then clean it with dish soap.
In Bambu Studio, use the high-temp plate profile and use the default setting to print.
Make sure to check the "level bed" setting before starting each print after you remove the bed. Also make sure the bed is clean by wiping with isopropyl alcohol between prints.
Recommended Bed Temps
NOTE: These are recommendations based off our testing, and are not a definitive guide for all filament types and brands. If prints are not sticking, bump up the bed temps by 5-10°C. If prints stick too well, lower bed temps by 5-10°C
PLA: 60°C
PETG: 80°C
ABS/ASA: 100°C
TPU: No Heat
Nylon: 110°C
PC: 110°C
Troubleshooting
My prints are not sticking - Sometimes, there may be some oils left over from the manufacturing process that are too tough for isopropyl alcohol to remove. If you are running into adhesion problems, wash the plate with hot water and dish soap to remove these oils. For advice on temperature, see the Recommended Bed Temps tab.
I see some light scratches and the color is not even - The G10 stock we use is sometimes not completely uniform in color and has light surface defects, but these do not impact performance in any way.
